About us



Apart from sharing the same place of birth (including the hospital), the three of us share a passion of films and food; a passion that might seem excessive to some, but not to us. Our general outlook towards a film might emit such extreme polarising opinions that it becomes an idea in itself. Sort of like a fourth input to our already bickering argument. An input created by an output.

It was during one of our routine input/output sessions that we decided to publish our sessions of detailed (and sometimes not so detailed) discussions out to the public. Not knowing what would be the best medium, we decided to start a blog with a promise to ourselves that we will continue to evolve our ways of expressing our opinions when it is required.

But why limit ourselves to just discussing films? We love food and we like talking about it. We love it even more when food and films combine. Hence, the birth of Filmy Foodies. This is a mere outlet for us to hold our candid discussions about the two things in life we love the most and we’d like to invite anyone who would want to be part of our discussions through the magic of technology.

If you’ve decided to join us in our discussions, don’t get too comfortable. We are not doing this just to gather viewers. We are always looking for a fifth, sixth, or even seventh input. We are not limiting ourselves with numbers either - no number is too big. We aspire to create a community that lives and breathes this form of art (still talking about films and food) like we do. So get in.
